Daily Whale Report: July 21, 2026
Several tracked wallets converged on XYZ100 within the hour. Over the last 24 hours, the wallets we track on Hyperliquid moved $174.7M in trades of $50,000 or larger, and 74% of that went into tokenized-stock perps, roughly in line with the day before. That made it the busiest session of the past week, about 115% above the seven-day average.
When the desks we follow move together like this, it is usually worth a closer look. Here is where the money actually went.
The tape
Start with the wider board the whales were trading into. Bitcoin rose 2% to around $66.5K, Ethereum rose 1% to around $1.9K, Solana held about flat near $78, and SNDK rose 16% to around $1.6K. As it stands now, funding on Bitcoin is positive, meaning longs are the side paying to hold.
The day in numbers
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Total tracked flow | $174.7M |
| Buy / Sell | 51% / 49% |
| Tokenized-stock share | 74% |
| Active markets | 37 |
| Busiest markets | SNDK $51.8M, XYZ100 $33.9M, BTC $27.9M, MU $13.8M, ETH $11.6M |
What stood out
A wallet we follow bought $976K of BTC, roughly 4.8x the size it usually trades in that market. It was trimming an existing BTC position rather than starting one, which usually reads as taking risk off, not adding a view.
A tracked wallet bought $963K of XYZ100, roughly 4.7x the size it usually trades in that market. XYZ100 was up 2% on the day, so the trade leaned into the move, in a market that now carries $293.6M of open interest.
A tracked wallet bought $839K of SNDK, roughly 4.2x the size it usually trades in that market. A single entry that far outside a desk's normal range reads as conviction, not routine rebalancing. It also lines up with SNDK being the busiest market across every wallet we tracked today.
A tracked wallet, up 833% over the last 30 days and among the top 1% of the wallets we track bought $849K of SNDK, roughly 3.4x the size it usually trades in that market. Either way, it stands out as one of the day's heavier commitments to a single market. It also lines up with SNDK being the busiest market across every wallet we tracked today.
One of the desks on our list bought $711K of ZEC, roughly 3.6x the size it usually trades in that market. That cuts against the crowd we track, which is sitting net short on ZEC — the most active hand betting the other way is worth marking.
Separately, 3 different wallets we track bought XYZ100 inside a single hour, $566,064 between them. Independent desks arriving at the same trade in the same window is the kind of alignment that rarely happens by accident.
The tokenized-stock story
$128.8M of today's tracked flow, 74% of everything the wallets touched, went into tokenized-stock perps — leveraged, on-chain bets on names like the S&P 500 or a semiconductor index (how these work). The busiest were SNDK at $51.8M, XYZ100 at $33.9M, MU at $13.8M. That positioning tends to show up in public wallets before it shows up in the price, which is the whole reason to watch it.
For scale, the $51.8M the wallets put into SNDK went into a market that now carries $161.9M of open interest in total. On a venue this young, tracked desks are not a rounding error there — they are a visible share of who is in the trade.
One wallet to watch
One desk did more of the heavy lifting than any other. Hidden Spread moved $15.8M today, working across ETH, BTC, MU.
As of now it is holding a $19.3M long in ETH, a $18.1M short in HYPE, a $12.0M short in XRP. Those are live, and you can watch them change in real time.
Worth flagging: that long in ETH runs against the rest of the book, which is sitting net short on the same name. The most active desk on the day is leaning against the crowd.
The standout performer
A wallet we follow came into the day with one of the stronger recent records on our list: up 78% over the past week on a 74% win rate, and 181% over the past month. Today it stayed busy in SPCX. Right now it is holding a $7.7M long in ETH, live and moving in real time. A run like that is the reason to watch a wallet before it acts, not after — the record is public, and so is the next trade.
What we are watching next
One thing stands out heading into tomorrow. Tracked wallets are sitting on a combined $154.7M net short in ETH, the clearest positioning lean on the board right now. Where the biggest desks are already leaning is the thread worth pulling into tomorrow.
The takeaway
The point of reading on-chain is simple. The trades are public, the wallets are public, and the positioning shows up before the story does. You can follow the same flow as it updates on the Mirror-X scanner. The same markets these wallets trade are live on the Mirror-X terminal.
