Daily Whale Report: September 15, 2026

Several tracked wallets converged on HYPE within the hour. Over the last 24 hours, the wallets we track on Hyperliquid moved $645.7M in trades of $50,000 or larger, and 20% of that went into tokenized-stock perps. That made it the busiest session of the past week, about 116% above the seven-day average.

When the desks we follow move together like this, it is usually worth a closer look. Here is where the money actually went.

The tape

Start with the wider board the whales were trading into. Bitcoin fell 3% to around $75.6K, Ethereum fell 5% to around $2.4K, Solana fell 6% to around $97, and CL rose 3% to around $100. As it stands now, funding on Bitcoin is positive, meaning longs are the side paying to hold.

What stood out

Hidden Spread, up 237% over the last 30 days and among the top 24% of the wallets we track bought $3.8M of BTC, roughly 18.9x the size it usually trades in that market. It was trimming an existing BTC position rather than starting one, which usually reads as taking risk off, not adding a view. It also lines up with BTC being the busiest market across every wallet we tracked today.

One of the wallets we watch bought $3.0M of BTC, roughly 16.1x the size it usually trades in that market. That runs with the rest of the board, which is leaning the same way on BTC.

A tracked wallet, up 223% over the last 30 days and among the top 28% of the wallets we track sold $7.7M of BTC, roughly 7.8x the size it usually trades in that market. BTC was down 3% on the day, so the trade leaned into the move, in a market that now carries $2733.1M of open interest. It also lines up with BTC being the busiest market across every wallet we tracked today.

A wallet we follow, up 578% over the last 30 days and among the top 6% of the wallets we track sold $2.4M of ETH, then sold $1.7M of SOL — all inside the same 24 hours. Stacking size across ETH and SOL the same day is one desk concentrating risk, not spreading it.

Separately, 3 different wallets we track sold HYPE inside a single hour, $1.3M between them. Independent desks arriving at the same trade in the same window is the kind of alignment that rarely happens by accident.

The tokenized-stock story

$127.8M of today's tracked flow, 20% of everything the wallets touched, went into tokenized-stock perps — leveraged, on-chain bets on names like the S&P 500 or a semiconductor index (how these work). The busiest were CL at $61.2M. That positioning tends to show up in public wallets before it shows up in the price, which is the whole reason to watch it.

For scale, the $61.2M the wallets put into CL went into a market that now carries $181.2M of open interest in total. On a venue this young, tracked desks are not a rounding error there — they are a visible share of who is in the trade.

One wallet to watch

One desk did more of the heavy lifting than any other. A wallet we follow moved $45.5M today, working across ETH, LINK, PONS.

As of now it is holding a $7.7M long in HYPE. Those are live, and you can watch them change in real time.

The standout performer

One of the wallets we watch came into the day with one of the stronger recent records on our list: up 127% over the past week on a 88% win rate, and 223% over the past month. Today it stayed busy in BTC and ETH. Right now it is holding a $4.5M short in BTC and a $1.2M short in ETH, live and moving in real time. A run like that is the reason to watch a wallet before it acts, not after — the record is public, and so is the next trade.

What we are watching next

One thing stands out heading into tomorrow. Tracked wallets are sitting on a combined $98.3M net long in BTC, the clearest positioning lean on the board right now. Where the biggest desks are already leaning is the thread worth pulling into tomorrow.

The takeaway

The point of reading on-chain is simple. The trades are public, the wallets are public, and the positioning shows up before the story does. You can follow the same flow as it updates on the Mirror-X scanner. The same markets these wallets trade are live on the Mirror-X terminal.
